The Prince George’s County Parks and Recreation, Youth and Countywide Sports Division (YCSD) is hiring
Program Support Staff to assist with the preparation, operation, and breakdown of various sports programs, leagues, clinics, and special events. YCSD develops, organizes, and supports recreational sports programming for youth and adults across the county. Our programs aim to foster skill development, teamwork, community engagement, and a lifelong love for sports.

- Providing onsite support for multiple sports programs, including registration check-in, distributing schedules, and answering participant questions.

Assisting with program setup, including equipment transport, field/court preparation, and signage placement.

Supporting game-day and practice operations, including scorekeeping, timekeeping, and basic officiating as needed.

Engaging with participants, parents, coaches, and spectators in a positive and professional manner.

Ensuring program areas remain safe, clean, and organized during activities.

Assisting with inventory, storage, and maintenance of program equipment..

Completing other duties as assigned to support the success of sports programs and events.

Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.
Work Schedule
Program Support Staff work a variety of shifts, which may include evenings and weekends, depending on program schedules and events.
Supplemental Information-
Programs are located countywide.

These positions are seasonal/part-time and do not include a benefits package.

Hourly rate is based on experience.

Must successfully pass a complete background investigation prior to hire.
