Rastelli Market Fresh is looking for an experienced Grocery Associate:
Looking for an energetic individual to maintain a high level of customer service while safely and efficiently unloading and processing the delivery in the Grocery Department; to maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing department and to perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner, within Rastelli Market Fresh policy. 3-5 years experience prefered
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
- Follow Rastelli Market Fresh procedures for receiving, code dating, preparing, storing, and price marking, arranging, and restocking products to ensure quality, accuracy and product rotation and protection.
- Unload and secure received product in appropriate storage areas as needed.
- Block and face all products in accordance to RMF standards.
- Ensure that featured sale merchandise is attractively arranged to stimulate sales.
- Handle all product not worked to the shelf according to Department standards.
- Follow company procedure for reclamation, disposal of cardboard, and plastic.
- Maintain communication within the Grocery Department and Rastelli Market Fresh.
- Assist Grocery Department Manager as needed.
- Comply with all store rules, company policies, safety requirements, security standards and all local and federal health and civil code regulations.
- Dress according to company policy to include uniform, name badge, and hat.
- Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to direction of the Grocery Manager.
- Must be knowledgeable in the various types of products carried in the store.
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
