Join our team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our logistics operation! This role combines the flexibility of route driving with the hands-on of warehouse work. You’ll be responsible for safely delivering products to customers, ensuring exceptional customer service, and working alongside our warehouse manager. If being able to movie and lifting heavy items, driving a hi-lo, driving and logistics is your thing, this position is perfect for you! We’re looking for an individual eager to contribute to a team that values safety, reliability, and excellent service. This is a part time position that will range from 15-30 hours a week that has the availability to grow into a full time position if wanted.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care when applicable
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met
- Load, secure, and unload products efficiently using manual lifting techniques while following proper ergonomics
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to support smooth operations
Qualifications
- CDL license is REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual moving of goods regularly throughout the shift
- Warehouse experience including familiarity with pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and inventory handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse situations
