During our operating hours, you will split your time between managing a streamlined food program—preparing delicious flatbread pizzas to order—and keeping the bar lounge running smoothly as a barback and porter. If you have food service experience, an eye for detail, and love having your weekends totally free, this is the perfect job for you.
Key Responsibilities
Food Service & Prep:
- Prepare and bake flatbread pizzas to order efficiently and consistently.
- Manage a very limited menu, ensuring high quality for every order.
- Prep ingredients before service and manage light inventory for your station.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in the prep area.
Porter Duties:
- Assist the bar staff by restocking ice, glassware, garnishes, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the bar lounge during operating hours (bussing tables, wiping down surfaces, etc.).
- Perform thorough, daily cleaning and upkeep of the lounge.
- Execute nightly closing duties to ensure the entire space is spotless, sanitized, and reset before clocking out.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior food service or kitchen prep experience is required.
- Versatility: Ability to seamlessly switch between making food orders and supporting the bartender.
- Work Ethic: A proactive attitude with a strong standard for cleanliness.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash).
- Reliability: Punctual and committed to the Tuesday–Friday schedule.
