Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools, glassware, and supplies are properly stored and sanitized.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking while adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service for events or busy periods.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance the bar menu, incorporating trends like craft beer or mixology innovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine service, spirits, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for processing transactions and managing tabs.
- Previous food service experience in fine dining or hospitality industry settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts; strong time management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol regulations.
- Experience with beverage trends like craft beer brewing or mixology techniques is a plus.
- Previous bar management or banquet experience is advantageous but not required.
