Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas while ensuring that all laundry services are performed to the highest standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care and returned promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations, including familiarity with washing machines and dryers.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
