ProspectBlue is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Sales & Project Manager to join a well-established company in Northern Virginia. This position combines business development and project leadership, with responsibility for managing scaffolding projects from initial client engagement through successful completion.
The ideal candidate will cultivate strong customer relationships, identify and secure new business opportunities, oversee project execution, manage budgets and profitability, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic sales expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Previous experience in the scaffolding industry is required.
Key Responsibilities

Grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other strategic sales initiatives.
Evaluate sales opportunities, identify key decision-makers, and establish lasting relationships with prospective and current clients.
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending effective scaffolding solutions.
Build and maintain long-term client partnerships by managing expectations and providing ongoing support throughout each project.
Lead scaffolding projects from planning through completion, coordinating resources and delegating responsibilities as needed.
Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Help establish and implement sales strategies, policies, and best practices.
Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close sales while maintaining profitability.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance to maximize revenue and margins.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
Five to ten years of sales experience within the scaffolding industry.
Proven experience in business development and customer acquisition.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to establish, grow, and maintain professional client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license with the ability to successfully pass a DMV records check.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent project management credential.
