This position reports directly to the client representative to receive specific instructions regarding various general building and property maintenance requests, inspections, periodic repairs and scheduled visits to prescribed facilities. The incumbent is expected to be a responsible individual capable of maintaining good attendance, punctuality habits and physical appearance. The position acts as an ambassador to the client’s representative and fosters a positive working relationship with both business owners and other vendors.
Perform scheduled property tours to evaluate and report on the operational status of support systems, general building and landscaping conditions, and perform all general maintenance activities to keep buildings in good standing.
The incumbent must possess the necessary skill sets to troubleshoot basic electrical circuits and plumbing systems. Evaluate basic construction and repair projects. Make repairs to vinyl siding, roof shingles, downspouts, doors, windows, shutters, fencing, garage doors, etc.
Operate numerous power tools to effectively and safely perform repairs to structures, finishes and mechanical or electrical systems and other building or recreational equipment.
May be required to work day, evening or night shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
Employee must possess a valid driver’s license and operate and maintain his or her assigned vehicle in a safe and orderly fashion.
