WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Marketing Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while contributing to real projects and campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to gain valuable skills in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Salon Manager in creating a marketing strategy and calendar
- Create and schedule social media content for multiple platforms, adhering to brand standards
- Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
- Organize, edit, and post stylist photos to Google, Yelp, Facebook Albums, and IG stories/highlights
- Create email campaigns and monthly newsletter
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and community awareness)
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Help plan and staff marketing events
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
- Create local market target lists (apartments, subdivisions, etc.) and distribute promotional materials
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comprehensive understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
- Must have a passion for marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva
- Experience with photo editing and video creation.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and dedicated outlook
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
