Entry Level Automotive Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct multi-point safety inspections, check brake pads, tire treads, and suspension components.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay and shop environment.
- Basic Repairs: Assist senior technicians with mounting/balancing tires, battery replacements, and bulb changes.
- Documentation: Accurately record services performed and parts used on digital inspection sheets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Passion for Cars: A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a strong desire to learn.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of or enrollment in an automotive tech trade school is a strong plus.
- Tools: Basic set of hand tools (or a willingness to build your collection).
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
