Description:
We’re hiring an organized, proactive, and reliable Administrative / Operations Manager to help run daily operations for our summer surf camps and private lessons at the Newport Pier.
This is a hands-on role that supports both our clients and instructor team, helping ensure everything runs smoothly each day.
This is an on-site role based at the beach, working from a shaded operations/check-in area and actively managing daily logistics and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily staffing for summer camps and private lessons
- Check instructors in and out and ensure all responsibilities are completed
- Help oversee staff performance and keep the day running on schedule
- Answer phone calls, voicemails, and emails
- Assist clients in person (answer questions, help with bookings)
- Help manage daily check-in area and beach operations
- Handle payments and ensure they are collected and stored properly
- Support general daily logistics and problem-solving as needed

What We’re Looking For:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communicator (phone, text, email, in-person)
- Comfortable managing people and holding others accountable
- Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet
- Reliable and consistent—shows up and follows through
- Customer service or operations experience preferred
- Some knowledge of surfing is preferred but not required

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Approx. 7:45am–1:30pm (with short midday break)

$20–$30/hour depending on experience
