On-Site Warehouse Recruiter

Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, dependable, and people-oriented On-Site Warehouse Recruiter to support one of our client locations. This position will serve as the primary point of contact between our staffing agency, temporary employees, and the client’s management team.
The On-Site Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding employees, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, assisting employees with day-to-day questions, tracking attendance, communicating with client supervisors, and helping ensure our workforce is successful at the client location.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and screen candidates for warehouse and production positions
- Post job openings and actively source qualified candidates
- Coordinate new-hire paperwork, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements
- Conduct employee orientations and provide employees with assignment information
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on the client’s needs
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for temporary employees
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with client supervisors and management
- Track employee attendance, call-offs, tardiness, and assignment changes
- Communicate attendance and staffing updates to the appropriate team members
- Assist with filling call-offs and last-minute staffing needs
- Address employee questions and workplace concerns professionally
- Assist with employee coaching, performance issues, and assignment terminations when necessary
- Maintain accurate employee and staffing records
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll-related questions or discrepancies
- Coordinate required drug screens, background checks, physicals, or other pre-employment screenings when applicable
- Communicate regularly with the staffing agency office regarding hiring needs, employee issues, and client requests
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees to improve retention and address concerns
- Follow all company, client, safety, and confidentiality policies
Qualifications
- Recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or warehouse experience preferred
- Previous staffing agency or high-volume recruiting experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable communicating with both employees and client management
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential employee information appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and online recruiting platforms such as Indeed
- Ability to professionally handle employee concerns and difficult conversations
