The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instructional programs for students in grades K–12, as assigned, in accordance with Pennsylvania Academic Standards and district curriculum. The teacher promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and college and career readiness while maintaining compliance with regulations established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Public School Code. Requirements

Teacher Certification in Social Studies.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred (particularly for secondary content areas).

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in meaningful learning.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
