Job Overview
This position performs labor and production work with corrugated material.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and/or assemble the material to produce boxes
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor
- Ensure proper abatement techniques according to regulations
- Shape materials to prescribed measurement using assigned equipment
- Give input to the warehouse supervisor on the status of warehouse workers on any performance issues, including productivity, attendance, safety, or quality, as noted
- May be required to operate production machines in the warehouse
- Accurately record production data
- First Shift: Mondays - Thursdays 3:00 pm - 1:00 am
Qualifications
- Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
- Must be willing and able to work in a fast paced environement
- Must be able to safely operate and move around production equipment and warehouse areas.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach while performing job duties.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and finished products weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to use hands and fingers for handling, grasping, assembling, and operating tools and production equipment.
- Ability to visually inspect materials and products for quality and accuracy.
- Capable of working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
