Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Commercial & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial and employment litigation matters alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative and growing practice.
What You'll Work On:
- Handling commercial and employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings
- Conducting legal research and managing written discovery
- Preparing matters for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Working directly with clients and collaborating with partners on litigation strategy
- Coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals throughout the litigation process
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of commercial and/or employment litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
- Knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and local court rules
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar admission required
