Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A or Class B dump trucks to transport and deliver materials to job sites safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load and unload materials including dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, or construction debris
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and documentation as required
- Communicate with dispatchers and site supervisors to coordinate timely deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies on and off the road
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
- Previous dump truck or heavy equipment driving experience preferred
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Ability to operate in various weather and job site conditions
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery schedules
