American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Adult) Night Shift travel position in Vermont, requiring at least 3 years of acute care experience and a VT or compact RN license.

General Med/Surg unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom
-
Primarily adult patient population with occasional pediatric patients
-
Provides comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Every other weekend required

Meditech EMR experience preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Active VT RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience required

Flu shot required — no exceptions

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the Nursing Process, addressing adult and occasional pediatric patients' medical, surgical, and holistic needs

Works under the accountability of the Unit Director, collaborating closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor on shift

This is not a dedicated pediatric floor — candidates with exclusively pediatric RN experience will not be considered
