Company Overview
Kwiksave Logistics is an established final-mile, same-day and time-critical logistics provider operating throughout Canada and the United States. We are expanding our U.S. owner-operator network and are seeking professional independent contractor courier drivers for a new dedicated account in the Austin, Texas market.
The Opportunity
We are building our initial Austin operator team for time-sensitive local and longer-distance courier deliveries originating primarily in the North Austin area.
We are particularly interested in reliable, high-availability owner-operators who can provide evening, overnight and weekend coverage, in addition to regular daytime availability.
This is an opportunity to become part of the initial contractor team supporting a new Austin market launch.
Compensation
- Earn 65% of applicable transportation revenue
- Potential earnings of approximately $5,000–$8,000+ per month for high-availability lead operators
- Additional earning opportunities for qualifying after-hours, weekend, long-distance, waiting-time and heavier shipments
- Commission-based independent contractor opportunity
- Earnings vary based on shipment volume, distance, services performed and contractor availability
- Shipment volume and monthly earnings are not guaranteed
- Independent contractors are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, maintenance, taxes and operating expenses
Responsibilities
- Accept time-sensitive courier shipments based on your availability
- Complete local and longer-distance deliveries throughout Austin and surrounding areas
- Provide reliable after-hours and weekend coverage
- Deliver shipments within required service windows
- Update shipment and tracking information through mobile applications
- Maintain regular communication with Kwiksave dispatch
- Provide courteous and professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
- Promptly communicate delays, service issues or other challenges to our operations team
After-Hours & Weekend Availability
After-hours and weekend availability is a major priority for our Austin team.
We are especially interested in contractors who can regularly provide coverage during evenings, overnight periods and weekends. High-availability contractors will be prioritized during our initial onboarding and pilot phase.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Own and operate a reliable, well-maintained passenger vehicle
- Current vehicle registration and insurance
- Smartphone with reliable data service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and customer-service-oriented
- Dependable and responsive to dispatch communications
- Ability to safely handle courier shipments
- Ability to meet applicable background and driving-record requirements
- Reliable driving history
