Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes promptly and resetting tables efficiently for new guests
- Support food handling and preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team, including basic food prep and ingredient handling
- Follow manual handling protocols for heavy lifting of pots, pans, and dishware to ensure safety at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and service stations through regular cleaning routines
- Adhere to food safety management practices to uphold hygiene standards in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- Assist with catering or banquet setups when required, ensuring timely and organized service delivery
Skills
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment with knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures
- Strong bussing skills with the ability to clear tables quickly while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with dishwashing techniques and food handling safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during cleaning or moving supplies and equipment
- Basic knife skills for assisting with food preparation tasks when needed
- Knowledge of food safety management practices relevant to restaurant or hotel settings
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning, sanitation, and food handling processes
- Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
