Job Summary: Skillcraft Machine Tool Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Toolmaker/CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team and help achieve our company’s objectives in a dynamic, action-oriented, continuous improvement atmosphere. This is a full time, hourly position with a competitive a wage based on experience.
Hours: M-F 7am – 3:30pm(OT availability dependent on workload)
Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Program, set up, and operate (1) or more CNC machining centers to produce small to medium size lots of parts and assemblies
· Use blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels for finished product
· Design, fabricate, and utilize fixtures as necessary to machine the work piece
· Work with the production team to complete complex projects in an efficient manner
· Maintain a clean and organized work center
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in a job shop environment
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) as needed
· Ability to process work from raw material to finish product
· Ability to hold tight tolerances
· Strong verbal communication skills
· Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
· HURCO and/or Mastercam experience a plus
· Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds, repeatedly
· Walking/standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
· Able to sit, stand, bend, squat and walk about the facility

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
