Orion Stone Depot a landscape supply store in Orion Township, MI is seeking to hire outgoing sales, customer service, and administrative sales associate for a Full-Time or Part-Time position.
This position will require assisting walk in customers with face-to-face sales as well as incoming telephone sales at our front desk and general office administration tasks. We are seeking someone with weekday and must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Serve customers by helping answer landscape questions and general sales.
- Help manage incoming telephone traffic and take phone orders from customers.
- Set up and dispatch local deliveries.
- Assist with administrative duties and other office tasks.
- Calculate quantities and assist in landscape design and configurations.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-2 years sales and customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Sage 50 Accounting is a plus).
- Previous landscape or construction industry exposure is a plus!
- Ability to read blueprints and landscape drawings is a plus!
- Basic math skills a must!
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor within a sometimes high-stress and high-volume environment.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Be able to work within a team environment.
- Be able to work independently when needed.
