Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform limited obstetric ultrasound examinations, specializing in maternal-fetal medicine, to support the health and well-being of women during pregnancy. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed prenatal limited ultrasound examinations, including fetal growth assessments, using high-resolution ultrasound equipment.
- Operate medical imaging equipment with precision, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate dating of pregnancy.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures within electronic medical records while adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate closely with other staff members to interpret imaging results and support patient care plans.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology, including picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain imiages, answer questions, and provide compassionate care tailored to women's pregnancy.
Experience
- Proven experience in maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound techniques, including prenatal ultrasound.
- Strong background in obstetric and gynecological sonography with comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to women's health diagnostics.
- Familiarity with operating medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound machines used for vaginal and abdominal ultrasounds.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to obstetrics, gynecology, radiology. tics.
- Experience working within EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other staff.
- Certification or licensure as a diagnostic medical sonographer specializing in maternal-fetal medicine is highly preferred.

Pay: $27.38 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
