Job Summary: A Garage Door Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial garage doors, openers, and related equipment. This role requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with heavy materials and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install garage doors, garage door openers, tracks, springs, and related hardware.
- Inspect job sites and measure openings to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Repair or replace damaged doors, springs, cables, rollers, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on garage door systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with garage door openers.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifting equipment safely.
- Communicate with customers regarding installation procedures, maintenance recommendations, and repair options.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Follow company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Keep work vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
