Job summary
“The Laborer supports the crew by performing physical labor, preparing job sites, operating hand and power tools safely, assisting equipment operators, and helping complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.”
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions
- Work effectively with crew members.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Perform manual labor such as digging, grading, lifting, shoveling, raking, and cleanup.
- Assist equipment operators and CDL drivers.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Keep the job site clean, safe, and organized.
- Perform daily inspections on assigned tools and equipment.
- Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Practice safe work habits at all times.
- Help other crew members whenever your assigned task is complete.
- Represent the company professionally with customers and the public.
- Be a team player.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Construction experience preferred but willing to train the right person.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed.
- OSHA training (preferred but not required).
- Ability to run with little effort

- Tool belt
- Tape measure (25 ft. Or longer)
- Claw Hammer
- Flat bar (or crow bar)
- Marker or pencil
- Speed square
- Klien pliers
- Rebar tie twister
- Protective toe boots (steel or composite)
- Long pants
Work Conditions:
- Full-time.
- Outdoor construction environment.
- Physically demanding work.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

- Safety record (zero preventable accidents or safety violations).
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Productivity (completes assigned tasks efficiently).
- Quality of work (minimal rework).

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
