Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finishers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw construction projects into polished, visually appealing spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential developments, contributing directly to the completion of beautiful, functional interiors.
Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints with precision and efficiency.
- Sand and smooth finished surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance suitable for painting or other finishes.
- Install corner beads, trims, and moldings to enhance wall durability and aesthetics.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing details.
- Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to ensure seamless coordination on-site.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching holes, and repairing damaged drywall or plaster before finishing.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Extensive experience in drywall finishing techniques including taping, mudding, sanding, and texture application.
