Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL class A Truck Driver to join our team for a second shift full time and part time position. Monday-Friday and one weekend a month. This position is home daily. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting trailers safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively, double and triple endorsement is required. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. You must have one year verifiable experience or six months verifiable experience with qualified CDL class A truck driving school certificate.
Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Have double and triples endorsement
- Strong knowledge of load unloading procedures and safe handling practices.
- Excellent navigation skills with familiarity in route driving.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
