You should hold an active Maryland cosmetology license and have at least two years of experience behind the chair.
Confidence in haircutting, hair color, consultations, styling, and professional product recommendations is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional haircuts, color, styling, and finishing services
- Conduct thoughtful consultations and create customized service plans
- Build lasting relationships through outstanding customer service
- Recommend professional home-care products
- Rebook guests and maintain strong retention
- Track goals and participate in ongoing coaching
- Maintain a clean, professional, State Board-compliant workspace
- Participate in salon education, meetings, and team initiatives
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive salon culture
- Continue developing technical, communication, sales, and business-building skills
