Duties
- Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including landscaping, mowing, trimming, and debris removal to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting.
- Assist with event setup by arranging furniture, staging equipment, installing temporary structures, and preparing event spaces according to specifications.
- Conduct tear-down procedures after events by dismantling setups, packing equipment, and restoring the site to its original condition.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of the tables and chairs.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as concrete forming, fixture installation, or minor repairs around the venue.
- Support construction-related activities including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic carpentry or masonry work when needed.
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting the work area regularly, using heavy equipment responsibly, and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of setup and tear-down schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction management principles, construction estimating, or construction inspection will be advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with various tools such as hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying or related trades are a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills like caulking, plastering, fabrication or restoration work will set you apart.
