In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, providing excellent guest services, and ensuring water safety protocols are strictly followed. Your proactive approach will help promote a fun and secure atmosphere for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents.
- Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality.
- Assist guests with pool access, provide water safety instructions, and address their questions or concerns professionally.
- Conduct routine inspections of the pool area, including deck safety checks and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, cleaning schedules, and chemical treatments.
- Support aquatic programs by helping with water safety instruction for children and adult swim lessons.
Requirements
- Knowledge of public safety procedures, first aid protocols, and medical emergency response techniques.
- Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or cleaning supplies safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
