Job Description
We are currently hiring dependable and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our 7-Eleven team in Freeport, NY. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with daily store operations.
No prior convenience store experience is required. Paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Receive and organize product deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
- Prepare food and beverage items according to company standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and product rotation
- Complete opening, closing, and shift duties as assigned
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and stock merchandise
