Case Management & Prosecution Support
Coordinates and manages criminal cases throughout the prosecution lifecycle, ensuring timely case processing, compliance with legal requirements and court procedures, and effective coordination of criminal case activities, including assisting prosecutors with trial preparation. Exercises independent judgment in prioritizing work, managing competing deadlines, and resolving routine procedural issues in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.

Discovery Administration & Legal Compliance
Manages the discovery process by coordinating the collection, review, organization, redaction, and disclosure of case records and evidence, ensuring compliance with statutory disclosure requirements, court rules, prosecutorial obligations, and established office procedures.

Legal Document Preparation & Court Administration
Prepares and coordinates a wide variety of legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, court filings, and related materials while monitoring statutory and court-imposed deadlines, maintaining filing accuracy, and ensuring proper documentation and case record integrity

Justice Partner Collaboration
Coordinates criminal case activities among prosecutors, courts, law enforcement agencies, and other justice partners by monitoring case status, coordinating the exchange of case information, resolving procedural issues, and ensuring timely completion of case-related activities in compliance with legal and court requirements.

Operational Support & Process Improvement
Supports operational excellence by evaluating and improving workflows, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, assisting with the implementation of office processes and technology, training staff on new procedures, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the division.

Division Operations & Organizational Support
Supports division-wide operations by maintaining case management systems, fielding incoming calls and visitors to the office, organizing electronic records, coordinating workflow and case tracking, supporting special projects and organizational initiatives, participating in City programs and committees, preparing reports and documentation, and providing operational support to maintain workflow continuity and ensure effective division operations.
3 Months – Orientation & Foundational Performance

Become proficient with BWC systems, Evidence.com, redaction procedures, and case tracking tools.

Understand disclosure requirements, victim rights responsibilities, and office policies.

Complete ACJIS certification and demonstrate accurate completion of assigned duties.
6 Months – Independent Performance & Reliability
