Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and assisting with their needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools safely and efficiently
- Handle chemical agents following safety protocols for cleaning solutions and ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and equipment inspections to support facility upkeep
- Follow safety procedures during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and safety compliance
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices, Moving in new customers to storage facility.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely according to safety protocol guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or residential painting is a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation standards for various environments including offices, industrial sites, or residential spaces
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness records and safety documentation
