Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power and hand tools.
Duties:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivelines
- Conduct mechanical repairs on various vehicle systems, such as brakes, suspension, and steering
- Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance as needed
- Estimate repair costs for customers and provide accurate quotes
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and components
- Experience working with diesel engines is a plus
- Ability to estimate repair costs accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
-Experience with Vintage European AND/OR Late model European vehicles is a PLUS
