Independent Living Youth Intern (Paid Internship- Part Time)

Locations: Butte (with opportunities in surrounding communities)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Hours per week: 10 hours per week for 8 weeks
Looking for a paid internship where you can build leadership skills and make a difference?
Ability Montana is seeking high school and college students- especially youth with disabilities- to join our Youth Internship Program. This hands-on opportunity prepares interns to become leaders in the Independent Living movement while supporting youth programs in their local communities.
What You’ll Do
- Help develop and lead youth groups
- Support Independent Living services (peer support, life skills, advocacy, transition)
- Co-facilitate workshops and group activities
- Assist with outreach and community engagement
- Contribute to youth program growth across the region
- Assist with planned events (Camp Pathfinders in Ennis Montana June 18 and 19)
- Other duties as assigned
