Registered Nurse Medical Unit (Shift 7 p.m. -7 a.m.)
Job Description:
As an t Registered Nurse Medical Unit, you must be proficient in professional nursing skills and EHR charting documentation; must possess the nursing skills to provide quality care to patients and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage incoming patients based on urgency.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems for efficient patient record management
- Participate in emergency response situations, applying critical care skills as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Current CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
