Medical Specimen Courier (1099 Contractor) – Immediate Opening
We are seeking a reliable independent contractor to service a Monday–Friday medical specimen route.
Route Details:
- Pick up medical specimens from three hospitals located in:
- Bath, NY 2:15 PM
- Ithaca, NY 3:45 PM
- Elmira, NY 4:45PM
- Deliver specimens to Binghamton, NY by 6:30 PM, then prepare them for shipment.
- Total one-way route mileage is approximately 141 miles.
Requirements:
- Reliable sedan (route can be completed in a standard passenger car)
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs
- Smartphone for scanning specimens and shipping boxes
- Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance
- LLC required
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
