WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Come join our highly skilled staff in this fast paced OR. Looking for nurses who are self-motivated, flexible, and enjoy working as a team!
Patient Population/Diagnoses: In the operating rooms, we care for a wide range of patients.
Nursing skills gained: Our OR nurses are trained to function in both the circulator role and as a scrub. Because of this, our onboarding takes approximately 9 months.
Unit Successes/Designations/National recognition: Level I Trauma, Magnet

What is Needed to Join IU Health?
- Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Must have one year minimum of OR experience, pediatric experience not required
- Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
