Furniture Expo is a design-driven furniture showroom focused on craftsmanship, quality, and a highly personalized customer experience. We take pride in offering thoughtfully made pieces and guiding our clients through meaningful purchases for their homes.
We are currently hiring three Sales Associates across different schedules:
- Full-Time
- Part-Time (Weekdays)
- Part-Time (Weekends)
Position Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience while driving sales performance. This role combines customer-facing sales with light operational and administrative support during quieter periods in the showroom.
You will work closely with the team to maintain a welcoming, organized space while helping customers discover and purchase the right pieces for their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the showroom
- Build relationships and confidently close sales
- Provide strong product knowledge, including materials, construction, and design details
- Cross-sell and introduce complementary products to increase purchase value
- Promote current collections, custom options, and special offerings
Showroom Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling showroom
- Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and priced
- Assist with merchandising updates, new product launches, and seasonal changes
Operations & Office Support
- Perform essential administrative tasks during slow periods (order entry, CRM updates, inventory checks, follow-ups)
- Support coordination of orders, deliveries, and customer communication
- Gather customer feedback and assist in improving store operations
- Help maintain accurate records and support day-to-day store functions
Team & Store Support
- Collaborate with management to meet and exceed sales goals
- Support store initiatives, promotions, and events
- Learn and uphold company policies and standards
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in closing sales and working toward targets
- Highly organized and comfortable handling both sales and administrative tasks
- Interest in furniture, interiors, or design is a strong plus
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in furniture or home goods sales
- Familiarity with POS systems, CRM tools, or basic office software
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred (Not Required)
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule Options
- Full-Time: 4–6 days per week
- Part-Time (Weekdays): 2–3 weekday shifts
- Part-Time (Weekends): Saturday & Sunday availability required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
