EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides administrative support for personnel processes, purchasing tasks, budgeting work, and district operations. As a Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:

Personnel Support: Assist the District Forester with administrative tasks and maintain personnel records for the district

Procurement Tasks: Prepare purchasing documents, track district purchases, and manage bid and invoice processes

Budget Monitoring: Maintain budget sheets, track expenditures, and update district financial records

Administrative Coordination: Maintain manuals, support training documentation, and handle scheduling and onboarding activities

Record Management: Maintain revenue control sheets, emergency contacts, and human resource documentation

Communication Duties: Coordinate with regional and central office staff regarding personnel matters and required processes

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

This position may require travel and overtime as needed.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Emporium. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
