Pay Rates as Follows:
- Leads: $16-19/hr.
- Assistants: $15-16/hr.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare facility
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical education, child welfare, and math skills
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap time
- Assist with potty training and personal hygiene tasks
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the facility
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- For School Age Leads - transport students to and from school
Qualifications:
- Leads - CDA or degree in ECE (preferred)
- Assistants - Previous experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- For School Age Leads - minimum 21 years of age with a valid DL
