Position Highlights

Responsibilities
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and required Medicaid billing records.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Support students in accessing and participating successfully in their educational programs.
Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Cecil County Public Schools' policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, if required by assignment
- Current NPI Number or ability to obtain
- ePREP enrollment or ability to complete enrollment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between assigned schools, if needed
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and background screening
