Position Summary
As a Caregiver/Home Care Aide, you will provide non-medical personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide emotional support while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client confidentiality. (Have clients in different counties, Dupage, Cook, Dekalb, Will, & Kane)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas.
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments (when assigned).
- Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
- Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition to the supervisor.
- Document services provided accurately and timely using the agency's documentation system.
- Follow each client's individualized care plan.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and agency staff.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
