American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a Level II trauma center offering comprehensive stroke and NICU services.
-
Work in the Respiratory Services department supporting Adult, NICU, and Pediatric service lines
-
Patient ratios range from 10-25
-
Utilizes GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices

Cerner EMR used for charting
-
Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Varying weekend requirement of at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Floating required to all Critical Care units and floors

RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
-
NRP certification preferred
-
North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required
-
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Provide respiratory care services across Adult, NICU, and Pediatric patient populations

Part of a larger respiratory therapy team of approximately 120 staff members

Scrub color requirement is Medium Gray/Pewter

Located at a Level II trauma center with comprehensive stroke center and Level III NICU designation

Facility holds Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence
