Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Location: Columbus, IN

Salary: $60,000–$70,000/year
Position Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the site Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve QMS procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Conduct internal audits and support ISO, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Investigate nonconformances and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement and monitor CAPA and corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Provide quality training and orientation to employees.
- Support production process audits and quality compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain manufacturing quality documentation and records.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing quality or Quality Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
- Experience with internal audits, nonconformances, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- Experience with SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and 5 Why.
- BRCGS experience.
- Manufacturing document control experience.
- Spanish bilingual skills.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
