Ladd's Golf & Turf is looking for a CDL-A Driver for transporting golf cars and/or turf equipment that will operate within West Michigan. This job will entail loading and unloading equipment in an enclosed semi trailer (tight spaces), open air hydraulic semi trailer, 12 Car Open Trailer and smaller various towing capacities. This job will require attention to detail with picking up and delivering units to golf courses or special events, inspecting the tractor and trailer at the end of the day and preparing for the following. We are looking for a candidate that has friendly customer service skills, use of technology to scan units, maintains hygiene and can work will with other employees. Minor mechanical abilities are a plus. We classify this position as "Seasonal". No work is required from November 15 to March 15.
During our busy season, expect 40-60 hours a week.
We typically do not work any weekends.
Home every night, however there are instances where we may ask you to take trips to Memphis TN, or Knoxville TN for inter-store equipment transfers.
Physical requirements include but are not limited to:
- Able to navigate in between golf cars in an enclosed trailer
- Able to push, pull, and maneuver equipment within confined spaces.
Technical requirement include, but are not limited to: Must possess or be eligible to obtain a D.O.T. medical card, and pass a D.O.T. physical
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with CDL-A
- Must pass a drug screen and back ground check

- Compensation includes hourly rate and company bonus plan. Pay will be commensurate with experience
