Mayflower Motor Company in Rome Ga is a family-owned used car dealership looking to hire a driven individual for our full-time commission based car sales associate position. Hours are typically 9:30-6:30p M-F and 10-4 Saturday, but coming in early and staying late to facilitate sales is expected. Must be willing to work most Saturdays. Responsibilities
- Must be a highly self motivated individual who is willing to seek out and follow up with customers
- Must be a confident individual who knows vehicles and is able to close
- must be able to type and perform mathematical functions
- Greet and assist customers throughout the sales process, providing a positive and personalized experience. Overcome customer objections to execute a sale.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and relay key information about the vehicles and services we offer.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our vehicle inventory and dealership services.
- Collaborate with finance and management teams to ensure the customer's paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives.
- Utilize effective sales techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales referrals, activities, and goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of sales or finance experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Highly self-motivated, coachable, customer driven, and a strong work ethic.
- Maintains a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving recordYou will be responsible for driving sales by generating leads via phone and Social media, responding to leads assigned, greeting potential customers, assisting customers with procuring financing, building relationships with lenders, performing administrative duties, and more. Applicant will need a valid dl, reliable transportation, and a clean background. This is a customer interfacing position that will require a great attitude and outgoing, friendly personality. Great organizational skills are a must. Must be a self starter. This job is fast paced, and no two days are the same. Pay is based on the candidate. Paid vacations.
