Our company is looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a truck and transporting goods and materials over long distances. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license, the ability to work independently, and the ability to adhere to company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a valid CDL license and medical card.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect truck before and after trips to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and miles driven.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road.
- Navigate routes using maps and GPS systems.
