Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join our healthcare team in Calexico, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care. This position offers the opportunity to work in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care to female patients.
- Monitor and manage patients during prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and chronic health issues.
- Perform examinations, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
- Deliver babies while ensuring the health and safety of both mother and infant.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and policy development.
- Supervise or mentor medical students, Nurse Practitioner students, or Physician Assistant students as assigned.
- Rotate between affiliated health clinics as needed.
- Follow all medical, ethical, and administrative protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Active and unrestricted California Medical License.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification/registration, where applicable.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care skills.
- Supervisory experience or willingness to supervise trainees is preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional weekends
- Approximately 5–6 on-call days per month

Pay: $169,148.14 - $203,705.28 per year
