Overview

As a key player in our collision repair shop, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs that meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will contribute to restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care.
Duties
- Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing using MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques.
- Fabricate and repair sheet metal components, ensuring proper fitment and durability through advanced fabrication methods.
- Utilize power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to restore damaged vehicle panels and structures efficiently.
- Conduct auto restoration projects, including auto glass replacement, automotive dent repair, and parts installation with attention to detail.
- Prepare vehicles for painting using airless paint spraying techniques and automotive body refinishing procedures; ensure flawless finishes.
- Execute auto estimating tasks by assessing damage, documenting repairs needed, and providing accurate cost estimates for customers.
- Assist with heavy lifting and vehicle movement within the shop to support efficient workflow while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician with dealership or collision center backgrounds preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, and automotive repair processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration methods, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with auto painting processes including auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying.
- Excellent customer service skills paired with auto estimating abilities for transparent communication with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship in all repairs.
