Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate Toast POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning
